Wine, Food, Jazz, & a Triathalon..what a great weekend!
January 24th 1998.
The annual Quenstown food and wine festival was held today in ideal conditions. A large crowd gathered to sample the best of local restaurants and the selection of top N.Z vineyards.

Two stages kept the crowd entertained with a full spectrum of live Jazz. As the parapents swooped overhead much wine was consumed and the crowd grooved through the afternoon.

For those people more fitness inclined the 11th annual Moke Lake Triathalon was held with a record turnout on an extremely hot afternoon.
Queenstowner Warren Ross won the mens division while Glenorchy's Angela Holmes took the women's.
